ME

Few of my million daily thoughts, stories, and poems survive the battles in my head and make it to this blog.

Help me give them a louder voice.

Tranquility

Tranquility

When the sun sets
And the moon is crescent and thin
When darkness covers the lights within
Candles flicker
In the village above the clouds
And I see the tranquility of a world passing by

Growth

Growth

The girl missed seeing
The creatures hiding in the brush
And the song they sang
When all else was hush
But the girl, a woman now
Replaced fun with a crown
And bare feet
With shoes too tight
The girl, in the woman
Looks on in the dark night
Hoping to see them again

Scars

Scars

As he brushed away the cloth that hid what’s within

Rearranged

Rearranged

She felt it
Every now and then
The shiver
The thrill within
As she read words
Or saw some art
She knew
She had to be a part
Of a life worth living
Art that’s thrilling
So she wrote on
Hoping to be remembered
For borrowed words
Rearranged

Fate

Fate

She couldn’t remember
A choice
A long forgotten voice
A sound from deep within
A place to begin
Was it fate?
Was it a decision?
She couldn’t remember the beginning
That led her here
…
Do you remember your purpose?
